I’ve gained a lot of perspective through the years. My younger self was yearning for materialistic possessions, but now that I’m older, I realised that life is all about attaining happiness. And my biggest source of happiness is my son, Luca.
That’s why it’s important to balance work and life. You need to set time for yourself and the people you love. I start my mornings with a cup of hot tea, checking messages from the night before, my morning skincare routine and sometimes even an episode of the drama I’m bingeing on. My workday begins while the morning sun is still out and I unwind a little by late afternoon by working on my computer before picking my son from school. Once the sun has set, that’s the time I reserve for myself, family and friends.
As a creative, I like to find inspiration from the little things. It can really come from everywhere. From travelling to meeting new people. The idea is to not limit yourself on where your sources of inspiration can come from. I choose to find meaning in every little part of my life, I just don’t stop looking.
So when I heard about ARC, I was super excited about how it’s a community where creatives commune on a platform to network and collaborate alongside other like-minded individuals. A collection of credible people of similar interests knowing that it’s a safe space for discussions to take place. The limitations would be endless!
I can’t wait to contribute to the fashion and arts community within ARC, a community that has been so kind to me through the years.
