“There was a point in my life where I felt empty, like I had no purpose. I was figuring out what the next steps in my life would be after modelling and I just felt like I was standing still.
Thankfully, I was always fortunate to always have a great support system that allowed me to be myself. Amazing friends and family that keep me grounded, and my mom who keeps me humble and is ever so brutally honest with me.
It may seem obvious now, but my pivotal moment came when I started to create my own content and tell my own story through my platforms. It was then that I finally felt like I was able to take control of my life and my destiny. My support system was so key in helping me stay true to myself and everything that I’ve achieved because of it.
That’s why I constantly surround myself with people that are positive and driven. I always believed that if you put out good energy, it attracts those who are also excited about life and excited about what they are doing.
So when I heard about ARC Community from my good friends and founders Kiat and Elroy, I was very excited about it. They have always been great at connecting people and bringing people together. And there’s something very powerful when you create something that’s built out of meaningful connections and pushing boundaries together.
Today, I’m driven more than ever to be disruptive and to do it my own way. To push the boundaries for myself to see what I can accomplish for myself and always be the better version of me. Because if I can’t be my best self, I don’t deserve to be a role model to anyone. Like my mom always says: if you are happy, you are confident, and if you are confident, you are beautiful.”
